Apple Spice Cake
Apple pie or apple cake, if it's too much pressure to choose between them then why not have both! This fun recipe takes a twist of fresh apple pie, and will leave your guests asking for seconds! It is pretty much guaranteed, that there will be no leftovers.

Instructions

Combine and mix dry ingredients

Combine and mix wet ingredients

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until combined

Place peeled apple slices on bottom of greased pan. (only if you use fresh fruit in this recipe)

Pour batter on top of apples (Skip this step if no fruit is used)

Bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees
Caramel Topping

mix brown sugar, heavy whipping cream, butter, salt in sauce pan on medium low heat. Whisk continuously for 5 to 7 minutes

Remove from heat and add vanilla extract. Whisk for about 2 more minutes.

Pour in glass jar and keep in fridge until ready to use
