Baked Carmel Apple Corn
This recipe reminds me a lot of harvest parties and having fun with family and friends. I recommend having this at your next get together, whether it is game night, movie night, or an office party I am sure it will be a big hit.

Ingredients

cup
pure maple syrup

cup
butter

cup
brown sugar
(packed)

tsp
salt

tsp
baking soda

tsp
vanilla

un-popped corn

2
small granny smith apples
(diced (you can use any kind of apple you like or you can leave it out))

cinnamon
((if not using the apples you can leave this out as well))
Instructions

Pre heat oven to 250 degrees

Lightly butter large bowl. (you may need to use two bowls)

Pop the popcorn (you may use either stove top method or air popper method) and put it into buttered bowls

In a large pot melt the butter

Add maple syrup, brown sugar, and salt and bring to a boil stirring occasionally

Boil for 5 minuets without stirring

Remove from heat

Stir in baking soda and vanilla

Pour caramel mix gradually over popcorn and mix well

Pour popcorn mixture into a large roasting pan

Bake for 1 hour stirring every 15 minuets

Add the cinnamon to the apples and mix to coat

At the 45 minuet mark mix the apples into the popcorn mix and bake for the last 15 minutes

Remove from oven, let cool, and enjoy
