Baked Maple Rice Pudding

This recipe is full of flavor and one you will enjoy making for family and friends. You can opt to put in the raisins or not. I made this without the raisins and it was very good.

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cup boiled rice (317 g)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (3 g)
  • 2 1/2 cup milk (630 g)
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg (1 g)
  • 3 eggs (123 g)
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional) (79.g)
  • 1 cup maple syrup (297 g)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine rice and milk in a bowl
  3. Beat the eggs and maple syrup together; add them to the rice and milk mixture. add all the other ingredients.
  4. Pour the mixture into a buttered pudding dish, set this in a pan of hot water, and bake in the oven for about 60 minutes. serve warm or cold.
