Beef Patty Parmigiana

Ingredients
  • lb ground beef
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 envelop of spaghetti mix (Could sub out for spaghetti sauce and omit the tomato sauce above)
  • 4 oz parmigiana cheese
  • 1 package of sliced mozzarella
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 tbsp capres
  • 1/2 cup white wine (*optional )
  • 3 garlic cloves
Instructions
  1. Make patties with ground beef
  2. Sprinkle with flour and salt and brown in skillet. Lay cheese slices on patties to melt and sit aside
  3. Dice and sauté onions until translucent and add shopped garlic until fragrant
  4. Add wine, tomato sauce and spaghetti mix to onions and garlic mixture and reduce about half way.
  5. Add parmigiana cheese to sauce and lay patties in to simmer. Squeeze one lemon, and add capers. Cover for 15 minutes.
  6. Boil water and dash of salt.
  7. Add your choice of pasta to boiling water and remove when al dente.
  8. Place pasta in a place and top with patty and sauce. Sprinkle with cheese (optional)
