Cherry Cream Chocolate Truffles

Truffles with a filling are delicious and don't have to be hard to make. Cherry filled truffles are a great gift as well.

Ingredients
  • 5 cup powdered sugar (620 grams)
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter (25 grams)
  • 3.5 oz sweetened condensed milk (102 grams )
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries (chopped) (80 grams)
  • 8 oz candy coating chocolate (228 grams )
Instructions
    Cherry Cream
  1. In a bowl, cream the butter and condensed milk
  2. Add 5 cups of powdered sugar and the drained chopped cherries, mix well. (The dough should be soft but not sticky)
  3. Roll into 1-inch balls. Place on a wax paper-lined cookie sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the freezer for 30 minutes or until firm
  5. Chocolate
  6. Add your chocolate to a pan on low heat to melt until melted and smooth. (making sure not to burn the chocolate)
  7. Dip each frozen ball into the chocolate and return back to the lined sheet.
  8. Let set until firm at room temperature or place in freezer for about 5 mins.
  9. Enjoy!
