Frothy Pink Dessert

This Dessert was very creamy and sweet. If I were to make it again I would make it with out the ice cream and use whipped cream instead but it was nice to share with my family

Ingredients
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3 oz package cherry gelatin
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 pt vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped Cream
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
Instructions
  1. Pour boiling water over gelatin and stir until dissolved. Add cold water
  2. Divide 1 1/2 c of gelatin into 4 glasses, chill until set
  3. Chill remaining 2/3 cup until partially set
  4. Mix together, partially set gelatin with ice-cream then whip together until fluffy
  5. Spoon over gelatin and chill until firm.
  6. Serve with a dollop of whip cream

  8. Beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form
  9. Add sugar and beat until stiff peaks
