Green Beans and Celery

In this recipe I decided to make green bean casserole with a twist. I decided to use all the ingredients and add 2 cans of cream of mushroom and topped it of with 1/2 bag of dried onions. I make green bean casserole all the time it was nice to add a twist to it.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 dried onions (for topping)
  • 2 lb green beans
  • 1/4 cup sliced celery
  • 1 tsp minced onion (I used fresh)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cream of mushroom (cans)
Instructions
  1. Cut fresh green beans in 2 in. slices
  2. Cut celery in small dices
  3. Add all ingredients except the dried onions in a casserole dish. Cook for 45 min
  4. When beans are tender add the dried onions on top. Ready to serve
