Luscious Lime Pie
This no-bake lime pie was a big hit around the house and it was a lot of fun to make as well. It has that fresh lime aroma and the pretty green color just makes it look so appetizing and I can promise you it tastes as good as it looks!

Ingredients
Crust

Instructions
Crust

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. Press into the bottom of a 9 inch pie pan and chill.
Pie

In a stand mixer, beat egg yolks until they thicken and are lemon in color.

On low, gradually add the sweetened condensed milk. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Add food coloring to preferred color of choice and beat well.

Add lime juice and 1 tablespoon of the lime zest and mix well. Transfer to a different bowl and clean the mixer bowl.

In the stand mixer, whip egg whites and cream of tartar on medium high speed until soft peaks form. Gently fold into the lime mixture.

Pour into the crust and refrigerate for 5 hours or until set.
Whipped cream

In a stand mixer whip the cream until soft peaks form.

On low, gradually add the sugar. Once combined, turn up to medium high and whip until stiff peaks form.

Garnish top of pie with whipped cream and remaining lime zest.
