Milk Bread

Yummy supper rolls. I used baker's measures so you'll need a scale.

Ingredients
  • 500 g bread flour
  • 15 g instant yeast
  • 250 g milk
  • 50 g sugar
  • 10 g salt
  • 50 g eggs
  • 75 g butter (softened)
  • Egg Wash
  • 1 egg (well beaten)
  • 2 tbsp water (mixed into egg)
Instructions
  1. Mix all ingredients until the dough is pulling away from the sides of the bowl then mix an additional 4 minutes.
  2. Place plastic over the bowl and let this rise about 30 minutes.
  3. Scale the dough down to 12 equal portions. Roll it out with your hands into a rope about 6 inches long. Knot over itself.
  4. Allow the rolls to rest another 30 minutes before baking.
  5. Egg wash the rolls, bake at 375 for 25 minutes.
