Oat Cookies

A soft crispy cookie, that is full of flavor and texture. The crispiness from the cornflakes and the oats are just delicious. The slight taste of chocolate with raisins also gives this cookie a sweet and salty delightful taste.

Ingredients

  • cup brown sugar (128 g in Baker's Measurement)
  • egg (50 g in Baker's Measurements)
  • cup rolled oats (128 g in baker's Measurement)
  • cup crushed cornflakes (128 g in Baker's Measurement)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (128 g in Baker's Measurement)
  • 1/2 cup sun dried raisins (128 g in Baker's Measurement)
  • 3 1/2 cup flour (438 g in Baker's Measurement)
  • tsp soda (4 g in Baker's Measurement)
  • tsp salt (4 g in Baker's Measurement)
  • tsp vanilla (4 g in Baker's Measurement)
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (64 g in Baker's Measurement)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 325*F and place parchment paper on a cookie sheet
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar
  3. Add the egg and mix until the egg is completely incorporated
  4. Add the salad oil and mix well
  5. Stir in the oats, cornflakes, chocolate chips raisins, and walnuts
  6. Add the flour, salt, and soda and mix together completely
  7. Next stir in the vanilla
  8. Scoop the cookie dough with a cookie scoop and place it in the preheated oven
  9. Cook for 12 min
  10. Remove from oven and allow to cool for additional 5 minutes
  11. Place in the refrigerator to chill for 5 minutes
