Pancakes

Play with these, get creative :) Add chocolate chips, blueberries, bananas, change up the extract, instead of vanilla or almond, go for cinnamon, banana, orange, add a little cinnamon to the batter .. have fun with these!!!

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour (120oz baker's measure)
  • 1 egg (47g baker’s measure - don't up egg unless making 15 or more)
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar (6g baker's measure)
  • 1/4 tsp salt (2g baker's measure)
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk (174g baker's measure)
  • 1 tsp extract (2g baker's measure )
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder (6g baker's measure)
  • 1 tbsp butter (melted) (15g baker's measure)
Instructions
  1. Sift dry ingredients together
  2. Whisk in liquid ingredients as well as any additional fruit, chocolate chips, etc you've chosen to use
  3. Pour a small amount into a greased frying pan at medium heat. It'll begin to bubble, fluff and take on a slightly dry appearance, about 2-3 minutes. Flip it over with a spatula and fry the other side for another minute or two until it's well browned also.
  4. Serve with butter, syrup, additional fruit, chocolate chips, whip cream, etc.
