Sausage & Red Peppers

I enjoyed this recipe. I served it with linguine noodles and topped with Parmesan cheese. It is very delicious and can be served with pasta or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb Italian sausage (1 inch slices)
  • 1 cup red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 2 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 8 garlic (cloves. Thinly chopped)
  • 1/4 cup sherry
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • salt (to taste)
  • pepper (to taste)
Instructions
  1. heat oil and sausage until brown. Remove from pan
  2. Add onions to pan. Cook 5 min
  3. Raised heat and add peppers, Cook 4 min
  4. Add garlic, Cook 1 min
  5. Return cooked sausage to pan.
  6. Add wine cook few min
  7. Add spices, salt and pepper to taste. Serve with pasta or mashed potatoes
