Seafood casserole

I had a lot of fun with this one. I am from the south and never heard of shrimp in a can. I went and got fresh shrimp. I used imitation  crab meat but you could use fresh if desired. I used the tuna to make a tuna dip. Which turned out great. Add a hand full of cheese to milk mixture.

Ingredients
  • 2 crab meat (packs)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 Italian season pack
  • 1 cup colby jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp season salt
  • 1/8 tsp red pepper sauce
  • 2 lb fresh shrimp
  • 7 oz can tuna
  • 1 cup colby jack cheese (add hand full to milk mixture)
  • 2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 8 oz cream cheese
Instructions
  1. Peal shrimp and season with season salt and 1 Italian season pack
  2. Melt butter in sauce pan
  3. Stir in flour for a min
  4. Add milk and cheese in mixture until thickened
  5. Add salt and red pepper sauce
  6. Pour 1/3 of sauce to the bottom of casserole dish
  7. Add shrimp and crab meat
  8. Layer mushroom, cheese and milk mixture. Top with cheese
  9. Bake @ 350 for 45 min
  10. Tuna dip: Mix 1 8 oz. cream cheese, can of tuna, 1/4 cup mayo. Refrigerate for 30 min. Then serve
