Snicker Cupcakes

This recipe is a very sweet treat. It is easy to make. It took me about a good minute to complete because I made 48 of them for my husband's co-workers. They can be made for any occasion.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup butter (175 grams )
  • 7/8 cup sugar (175 grams )
  • 3 large eggs (150 grams )
  • 1 1/8 cup self-rising flour (145 grams )
  • 1/4 tbsp cocoa powder (30 grams )
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • Buttercream
  • 7/8 cup butter (200 grams )
  • 2 3/4 cup powder sugar (400 grams )
  • 1/3 cocoa powder (40 grams )
  • 2 1/2 tbsp peanut butter (40 grams )
  • 3 - 4 tbsp milk (4 grams )
  • toppings
  • 12 snicker bite size bars or regular snickers
  • 3/4 cup caramel sauce (85 grams )
  • 1/2 cup salted peanuts (75 grams )
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix together butter, and sugar until smooth with a mixture and a whisk attachment.
  3. Add eggs and milk, and mix well.
  4. Add the self raising flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder and whisk until it's all incorporated.
  5. Divide the mixture between cupcake cases, and bake them for 20 mins. Then put them on a wire rack to cool completely
  6. Use a cupcake corer or a knife to make a hole in the middle of each cupcake.
  7. Fill the holes with a couple of peanuts per cupcakes and some caramel sauce. You can do this using a spoon.
  8. Buttercream
  9. Mix together butter, peanut butter, cocoa powder, and powder sugar with a whisk on a med. or high speed. When it starts to come together add the milk and mix until smooth.
  10. Pipe the buttercream onto each cupcake using a piping bag with a nozzle you can use what ever one you want to use for this or you can spread it on with a spoon.
  11. Toppings
  12. Pipping or using a spoon drizzle the caramel over the buttercream.
  13. Take some peanuts and sprinkle them on top of the caramel and buttercream. You do not have to do this part it's up to you.
  14. Top it off with snicker bite size that has been cut in half or that's been chopped up.
