Stuffed Zucchini

I think I have had zucchini just about any way possible I will have to say next to zucchini bread this is my next favorite, the flavors of this dish are off the chart umami or every flavor-packed in every bite.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb sausage
  • 1/2 lb hamburger
  • small yellow onion
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup zucchini middle
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • tsp dill
  • tsp majoram
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 dried slices of bread
  • 4 oz parmesan chese
  • 2 cup milk
Instructions
  1. Chop onion and garlic into small pieces.
  2. Cut the zucchini in half long way
  3. Scoop the middle of the zucchini into a bowl and place zucchini halves on a baking sheet and set aside.
  4. Saute onions
  5. Add garlic
  6. In the same pan cook off sausage and hamburger not fully done oven will finish.
  7. Add seasonings
  8. Mix well
  9. Par boil zucchini about 5 mins
  10. Remove them from water and return to baking sheet.
  11. Cut up drying bread into small chunks or squares
  12. Soak bread in milk.
  13. Mix zucchini centers and bread with meat mix
  14. Mix well
  15. Take your zucchini boats and pile stuffing into them fill them good and full
  16. Bake for 30 mins
  17. Pull zucchini out of the oven and sprinkle with parm cheese
  18. Back into the oven for about 5 mins or untill melted.
