(get cold to around 34 degrees, just shy of frozen)

Instructions

Take 1 lb. of sirloin steak and into 1/4 inch strips 1 inch long.
Cut bell pepper and onion into 1/2 inch slices and halved.

In a medium mixing bowl combine flour, ice-cold water, and well-beaten eggs. Mix until a medium consistency.

Lightly dredge meat prices in flour then dip into tempura batter then adding to oil. Cook meat until a light brown and place onto paper towels to drain excess oil. Place in a warm area.

In a large skillet add 3-4 tbls of oil, saute vegetables until al dente, add tomatoes and pineapple chunks 1/2 way through as not to overcook.

In a small bowl mix water and starch and make a slurry.

In a medium saucepan add apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar, ketchup. Mix in slurry until desired thicknesses.

To plate arrange vegetables add beef tempura and top with sauce or serve the sauce on the side. Top with toasted sesame seeds. Salt and pepper to taste.
