Ingredients

butter
(divided)

head of cabbage
(shredded)

yellow onion
(diced)

bell pepper
(diced - any color you like)

salt & pepper
(to taste)
Instructions
-
In a large saucepan melt 1 tbsp of butter, add onion and bell peppers, saute till onion is soft
-
Add cabbage and saute 3-5 minutes
-
Add next tbsp of butter and melt
-
Add salt and pepper
-
Add rice and saute for 2-4 minutes
-
Add water and bring to a full boil
-
Reduce heat to simmer
-
Cover and simmer for 18 minutes. Serve and enjoy
