Rice Krispie Cookies

I love Rice Krispies as a cereal and as the Krispies treats, so the first time I made these I was very excited. Well, this recipe certainly did not let me down. The entire batch was gobbled down by everyone in the house on the same day I made them. The decision was unanimous, they were delicious! I hope you enjoy these as much as we did!

Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies

This is a really yummy recipe for an old-fashioned sugar cookie. These are really easy to whip up and bake, but unlike today’s sugar cookies they are not made to roll out. The dough has a lot of moisture and gets very sticky thanks to the sweetened condensed milk. You want to keep the dough as cold as possible before baking to help with that! I really enjoy this recipe because it’s meant to be all about the cookie. You could decorate them with some buttercream or royal icing if you wanted, but it’s not necessary. Chocolate Chip Crackle Cookies

The flavor and aroma of these cookies transports me right back to my Mom’s kitchen as a little girl during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  When my Mom would be pulling out all the stops to make sure everybody had all of their favorite goodies during the holidays.  These cookies have crisp edges and they’re chewy in the middle.  Since these cookies are easy to make they’d make a great afterschool snack to have waiting for the kids when they get home!
