For The Love of Food and Making Great Memories
This is a great salad that’s a meal in itself. I enjoy serving it with a loaf of nice French bread or baguette lightly toasted. I often make this in the summer when the last thing I want to do is turn on the stove. I’ll grill up a London broil then slice it super thin for salads such as this one. The prep time on this doesn’t include the marinading time.
This dish is very near and dear to my heart. It was one of the first I tried as a home cook and am still very open to perfect at all costs. This dish is what I used as a gateway to open my kids up to try new things.
My son and my neighbor were the first people to taste this meal. My son told me that it was delicious. I know it was a hearty meal for him because he is a very healthy growing young man. My neighbor told me that it was ok. He cooks as well so he was a bit critical about the dish. I do know that I cooked a successful dish.
