The name “Comfort Sour”, I believe was given because of the use in this version of a whiskey sour. Nonetheless, you may use any bourbon or rye that you like.

Instructions
- Dissolve sugar in lemon juice.
- Add lemon juice and sugar mixture to a shaker full of ice. Add in Southern Comfort and shake vigorously.
- Pour into glass with ice and garnish with a cherry and slice of orange. Serve immediately.
