- Dissolve yeast in 1 1/2 cups of warm water.
- Add salt and sugar. Stir to dissolve.
- Add flour and kneed for 10 minutes.
- Let rise in bowl for 1 hour.
- Form into bagels, place on cookie sheet and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Place bagels in the boiling water for 1 minute, turning the bagel over halfway between time.
- Remove the bagels from the boiling water and place on a cookie sheet.
- Place bagels into a preheated oven of 375*F and bake for 30 minutes.
