I found this recipe for a peach pie that sounded really tasty. Since fresh peaches were out of season I decided to give nectarines a try! This pie just looks so inviting to eat and smells sweet. The nectarines give the pie a lot of sweetness, but the crust and a little whip cream help to tone that down!

- Slice 5 of the nectarines and arrange into the crust.
- Mash up or puree the remaining nectarines.

- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve. Add a few drops of yellow food coloring and let cool.
