- Tie pickling spice in cheese cloth or put in tea ball.
- Bring water to boil, add everything except bread to pot and boil 3 hours. Crock pot - throw everything in except bread high 4-6 hours Instant Pot - throw everything except bread in 35 minutes on meat/stew setting
- Move meat to separate plate. Shred with 2 forks. Put sliced stale French bread in bowl, place a couple mint sprigs on top and pour juice on top
