Caramelized Custard

Creme caramel, flan, caramel custard, or caramel pudding is a custard dessert with a layer of clear caramel sauce, very similar to creme brulee which is custard with a hard caramel layer on top! Amaze your friends and family with this simple yet elegant custard dessert! There are two very easy options you can use to make this dish, either in the oven in a water bath, or steam it on your stove top. It’s up to you! The results will still be magnificent! Enjoy!

Steamed Chocolate Pudding

Here is the perfect winter treat for you chocolate lovers out there! This recipe is family friendly and super simple to make! So get the kids in the kitchen and have fun making this steamed chocolate pudding dessert! Don’t let the name fool you! This is more like a decadent cake that is really moist and fudge-like. That is how wonderfully chocolatey this treat is! Enjoy!

Tuna Wild Rice Bake

The idea of having warm tuna wasn’t something I looked forward to, but…MY GOODNESS! I wanted to add some freshness to this recipe with the addition of herbs and some fresh lemon zest . This recipe is one that can help stretch a dollar, but is definitely not lacking in flavor. A must try!

Kashmiri Rice

This dish was absolutely delicious. I am not a huge fan of many rice dishes, but this recipe is easy and definitely worth a try.

Tabouleh

This stuff makes me so happy. Simple, savory, healthy, and so yum. Bulgar wheat can be found raw or processed. Raw takes longer,  obviously, so plan for that if you decide to use it. Otherwise, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this one, other than have fun with it!!! Great as a side dish, like the picture, or as lunch, which is my choice!!!! C’mon, let’s eat.

I also make these from time to time during the year. While these may seem spicy by reading the ingredients, they’re not that bad after they cook down, the masa is added and they’re ready to eat. You can also remove the seeds from the dried peppers which will bring the spicy heat to near zero. The peppers used in this are all very …
