I enjoyed making this recipe. After tasting it, I noticed it wasn’t overly sweet, but it still had a lot of flavor which is what I prefer. It is a fun and delicious recipe to share with family and friends. I think it would make a wonderful treat for the summer months.
This recipe was a little difficult to complete but I am glad to have made it. It was an awesome opportunity and I thought it came out beautifully.
This maple cake is the best way to welcome the fall season. It is a fancy but homey cake that you can enjoy every fall or anytime. This dessert definitely screams happy holidays! It’s not time constricting and it’s easy to make. A few things to know about this recipe; cornstarch is the best substitute for arrowroot! the biggest difference between the two is arrowroot freezes and thaws without change so if you can’t find arrowroot you do have hope! Another thing to weigh out is maple syrup vs maple extract, the extract gives the maple its flavor and is much stronger than the syrup.
