  • Cut bacon into 1 inch strips, and fry it until it is crispy. Then, drain on a paper towel.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt In a medium bowl.
  • In a small bowl, whisk in the eggs, milk, and butter.
  • Stir in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, until moistened (the batter will be lumpy) then, mix in the bacon.
  • Using a 1/4 measuring cup, pour the batter onto an ungreased griddle.
  • Bake until the top is bubbly and the edges are baked. Then, flip over to cook the other side (Do not press down on the top with a spatula).
  • Once the other side is baked, serve with butter and syrup.
