  • Wash and dry fish on a paper towel
  • Combine salt, corn starch, and soy sauce
  • Next, stir in bouillon cube dissolved in boiling water; set aside
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil and butter in a non-stick skillet
  • Add fish filets and brown quickly on either side; set aside to keep hot
  • Wipe out the skillet with a paper towel
  • Add the remaining oil to the skillet
  • When hot add the onions, celery, water chestnuts, and mushrooms
  • Cook on high heat until crispy tender (do not overcook)
  • Add soy-bouillon mixture and cook, tossing to mix, until vegetables are coated and liquid thickened
  • Carefully stir in fillets
  • Serve immediately
