Quick and Light Pie

Love Pie, but don’t want to wait until the holiday’s are here? Don’t want to spend too much time preparing or baking pies in the summer? This pie is the quick to make and light for those sweltering dog days of summer. This no bake pie is sure to hit the spot in both time management and taste!

    Pie Crust assembly
  • Combine sugar, graham cracker crumbs and melted butter
  • mix with fork until fully combined
  • Place mixture in an 8 or 9 inch pie tin and press down until the bottom and sides are even and fully filled.
  • Pie filling
  • Boil the water
  • Add Jello mix
  • Mix until completely dissolved (about 2 to 3 minutes
  • Add Ice cubes
  • Stir continuously for about 2 to 3 minutes
  • Remove any ice cubes that have not dissolved
  • Place heavy whipping in stand mixer ( or use hand mixer) and whip until the cream is set (3-5 minutes)
  • Add whipped cream into jello mixture
  • Whip until mixture is smooth
  • Fold in Fruit (if you are adding fruit)
  • Chill if necessary ( if mixture is thin and looks "soupy" then chill for 10 to 15 minutes)
  • Spoon Mixture into pie crust
  • Chill at least 3 hours
